Makes QR codes. That's it.
QR codes are not complicated. You put some information in, a little square picture comes out, and somebody points a camera at it later.
Somehow this has become a subscription business.
There are QR code generators that want an account, a monthly payment, analytics, campaigns, dashboards, tracking, dynamic redirects, and an ongoing financial relationship with you. That's useful if you're running a marketing department. I am not.
Sometimes I just want to make a QR code.
So I built this. It does one thing: you give it some information and it makes the stupid code. No backend server. No account. No stored data. No subscription. Nothing lurking in the cloud waiting to stop working when somebody decides the free tier isn't profitable enough.
Pick what kind of QR code you want. Fill in the fields. There's your code. Save it or share it. Go do something else. Live a wonderful bright beautiful life where you're not subscribing to a stupid QR code generator.
URLs, plain text, Wi-Fi credentials, email, phone numbers, text messages, and contact info. The normal stuff.
No dashboard. No library of codes. No analytics. No campaigns. No social features. It makes QR codes. That's it.
Nowhere.
The QR code is generated on your device. There is no Bare Bones QR account and there is no Bare Bones QR server storing the things you type into it. Your Wi-Fi password, contact info, URLs, and whatever else you put in the app stay on your device unless you choose to put them in a QR code and give that QR code to somebody.
One purchase. No subscription.
You'll pay once in the App Store, then we're done. You get all the QR codes you want, forever. No auto-renewal, no premium tier, no ads, and no monthly fee for the privilege of arranging black squares on a white background.
